About Instructor, Mimi

When I was working as an advertising sales representative for a newspaper in Jakarta, I discovered yoga amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life. Focusing on my body on the mat and concentrating on the poses allowed me to free myself from the clutter of everyday thoughts and emotions. I was captivated by the sense of calm that gradually settled in, which deepened my interest in yoga. I eventually obtained my RYT200 certification in Japan.

After returning to Jakarta, I worked for a trading company, but my yoga practice took a backseat due to major life events like marriage, pregnancy, and childbirth. Later, during a busy period at work and while experiencing health issues related to menopause, the pandemic hit, and I found myself spending more time at home. It was then that I began practicing yoga again as a way to refresh my mind, which reignited my passion for deeper learning. This led to my decision to leave my job, relocate to Bali, and open my own studio.

Aging healthily is something that may seem natural but is actually a great blessing. By incorporating even a little bit of yoga into daily life, I hope to help others adjust their body and mind so they can live each day with more vitality.
